Documents for Adjusting the License for Establishing a Representative Office or Branch of a Foreign Trader in Vietnam:
- A request letter for amending or supplementing the license for establishing a representative office or branch, signed by the authorized representative of the foreign trader.
- The original license for the establishment of the representative office or branch previously issued.
Documents for Reissuing the License for Establishing a Representative Office in Case of Changing the Location of the Representative Office from One Province/City to Another:

- (i) A request letter for reissuing the license for establishing the representative office or branch, signed by the authorized representative of the foreign trader;
- (ii) A copy of the business registration certificate or equivalent document of the foreign trader, confirmed by the competent authority in the country where the foreign trader is established or registered. These documents must be translated into Vietnamese and certified by the Vietnamese diplomatic mission or consular office abroad, and legalized according to Vietnamese law;
- (iii) The original license for establishing the representative office or branch previously issued.
Documents for Reissuing the License for Establishing a Representative Office or Branch in Case of Loss, Damage, or Destruction of the Original License:
The foreign trader must immediately apply to the competent authority for reissuing the license after the incident occurs.
Documents include:
- A request letter for reissuing the license for establishing the representative office or branch, signed by the authorized representative of the foreign trader.
- The original or a copy of the previously issued license for establishing the representative office or branch (if available).
Documents for Extending the License for Establishing a Representative Office or Branch:
- A request letter for extending the license for establishing the representative office or branch, signed by the authorized representative of the foreign trader.
- An audited financial report or other equivalent documents proving the existence and actual business activities of the foreign trader in the most recent financial year. These documents must be translated into Vietnamese and certified by the Vietnamese diplomatic mission or consular office abroad and legalized according to Vietnamese law.
- A report on the activities of the representative office or branch up to the time of the license extension request.
- The original license for establishing the representative office or branch previously issued.
